reuse Laptop touchscreen

Hello I am planing to reuse the screen from my broken Acer aspire R7 572.
I know that i will need a contoller board, but will i be able to use the touch funktions on the screen?
like if i plugg it in to my desktop and want to play world of tanks blitz.

Touch part uses an overlay on the screen and is a separate entity needing own controller.
