Reusing broken AIO LCD Screen

My 23" aio won't power on, but the LCD screen, I believe, is fully functional. Is there a way I can connect the screen to a desktop or laptop so that I can use it as an external monitor, using any of the ports - VGA, DVI or HDMI?
If so, what parts do I need, how to do it and what things that I should check for?

what is the model# of the monitor? power cord or power adapter? do you still have all the monitor parts all together? does the power light come on at all or not?

a normal monitor as 1 or 2 boards connected to it. a 1 board version is the main controller board connected to an external power adapter wereas the 2 board version has a video controller & a power board connected to a regular power cord. you would have to see what if any boards are directly connected to the screen. does the power light come on at all on the aio?
