Reusing HDD on new motherboard/OS?

I am going to be switching motherboards and I was wondering if I can use the same hard drive. I rather not buy a new one since it's 2TB. Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, you can reuse it. Be sure to backup any data you need to transfer over.

What you can't do is install the HDD with a new mobo and expect the new mobo to run with the drivers already installed on the HDD for the old mobo.
