Rev meaning on motherboard

i have this GIGABYTE motherboard and i want to update my bios
but when i flash it, it doesnt work.
i have GIGABYTE GA-870a-UD3 and i dont understand what rev means?

Rev means that Gigabyte sold multiple versions of that model number. They made slight improvements over time. Each time they changed the revision number of the motherboard. The REV number should be printed along the edge of the motherboard.

I would just use @BIOS. Just think of 'rev' (or revision) as an improvement (except a revision isn't always an improvement, just to confuse things more).
