Revamping my computer

i don't really know how much power id need for my computer of which i am revamping...i want to sli cards with a 2.8 tri core and 8 bgs of ram a new case and motherboard for it all also

and nvidia 9800 gtx or better....cuz i have one of those already for this comp....lastly i want to overclock my cores a little bit witch i heard i could do with a manual of my motherboard and bios. If anyone could help id love it!

D= i really don't want to waste my money on like some crazy power supply just to make sure it works.....which could be bad for it. If someone could even re-direct me to a site explaining power supplies good! please!

You would be fine with a 700watt+ PSU if you're going to SLI. Some say that having a powerful single +12v rail is better than having multiple rails, but make sure that you have good amperage. PC Power and Cooling makes a good power supply. Google "psu calculator" and find out how much power you'll be using, then try to find a PSU that will have that + around 20% more to give. So if you'll be using around 600watts fully loaded, you should get a 750watt PSU for the best efficiency. In other words, PSUs are most efficient when they're at about 50-80% utilization.
