Hello Everyone I've Had this PC for over 4-5 years and still running strong. I've been having issues with super slow task handling. I can no longer multitask without breaking my PC, if I attempt to Alt-Tab I always run the risk of crashing the game even if i run the game in windowed mode. To cut things short I'm trying to revive this PC to play games decently (if possible high settings) at 1080p (mainly world of warcraft) for under $200 if possible, I'm Planning my next PC build but I want it to hand this computer to my brother. Here are my Specs.

Thank you for taking your time to help me out.

My Specs
My RIG
My HDD

It is certainly not due to multitasking, because your Windows computer runs noumerous services/tasks in the background and therefore does multitaks just well when not running a game.

What you said is that the act of Alt+Tab'ing from within a game to any other Windows app, is probably making Windows crashing ?

Have you had this problem for an extended period of time? Did you change anything before this problem occured first time?

Have you tried other (older versions of) GPU driver?

Yeah i've been having this issue for a long period of time already, it also still persisted after a clean install of windows 10 and fast wipe of the drives. So I figured my components are just getting too old. I have not tried older versions of the gpu driver. But yeah i'm pretty convinced that it may just be my hardware, just trying to see if there are some little upgrades I can do to give this PC some more life.
