I recently updated my Gigabyte Z68x-UD3H-B3 bios to the version with UEFI support. It works great and looks good too but I have a few issues, both being known issues that never got fixes. These were one of the USB 3.0 drivers doesn't work so my back USB 3 ports don't work and the status LED lights are on whenever the computer is on, even in Windows. It's also a little unstable sometimes. Sooo I decided I want to revert back to F12 which is the one right before the UEFI. Whenever I try and update with Qflash it gives me an error something like "Warning!!!! Invalid BIOS Image"

I double checked that I downloaded the correct BIOS for my mobo revision but I always get this issue. The file name is Z68XUD3H.F12 and it somehow says it doesn't work, also then when I try and close the Qflash utility, the computer gets stuck at a blank screen and then boot loops maybe 2-3 times before finally loading Windows.

Solution

I went with the first one and after digging for about 30 minutes, I was able to find what I needed to get it working properly
