EVGA doesn't make PSU's. They have oem's make them for them, and slap their stick on them. The 600 B1 is built by HEC, and has low quality components. At minimum, quality wise, something like a Corsair CX650m, or better yet a Seasonic Focus gold, or Evga G3. 600w is enough, but there aren't any quality 600w units, to my knowledge, in production. Motherboard, I would go with at least a B360, with 4 ram slots. Functionally, B360 is a better chipset.

Do not bump threads. PSU is poor quality, motherboard only has 2 ram slots, so you could only use one of those 16gb kits. 16gb is enough anyway. Use PCPP to put your build together, https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/. It will be easier for people to see what you picked, and make suggestions/changes.

Why is the PSU poor quality? 600w is enough for this build and EVGA is a good manufacturer? Which one do you recommend?

Good point for the motherboard

Thanks

I agree with @logainofhades I would suggest changing the PSU. Despite 600w being more than rnough, the quality of the parts are questionable as he's explained.

Plus it also doesn't make much sense to cheap out on a PSU when the rest of your build are high-end parts.

The Corsair CX650M that was recommended is the minimum in terms of quality for a build like this I would say. An alternative would be thr Seasonic M12 620 Evo or a 600w BeQuiet Pure 10.

But a Seasonic Focus Gold or higher, Corsair RMX or higher, EVGA G2 and G3 models would be nice.

Shift your budget towards the graphics card and the Gsync panel. If won't matter if it's Intel, running triple A titles on ultra settings at 1440p resolution. Due to a restricted Canadian budget you'll have an overall better experience with this build. When the FPS dips lower than the refresh-rate, GSYNC will synchronize the frames to the refresh rate for an overall smother gameplay experience.
