P.S. This PC is going to be for playing high end games as well as being used for college which is why I chose the mATX motherboard and BitFenix Phenom M case. This small form factor case will allow me to fit it on the dorm room desk

Save some money and go with a decent 2x4 gig kit of ram instead of 16 GB. Unless you're encoding video or similar tasks, 16 gigs is overkill.
