Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

You're advised to stylize your thread with info asked of in this thread;

This site and the majority of it's user base are located in the USA, if you're not located in the USA, then chances are that our suggestion are going to be hit or miss for you...and often times will be us just going back and forth as brands and parts availability can and will vary due to region.

AIO - worth it spending this much ?
Prices for part vary with region.

MOBO - is msi good enough? I have heard x870 carbon wifi is beginner friendly so buy that one ?
Yes MSI isn't a bad brand, kind of. The board picked out is a good board in general.

PSU - Shift one is good ? Or go with standard one ?
You mean the non Shift version?

The build you've listed looks good but if there's an avenue to refine it, I think you should exercise it.

Hi guys,

I have spend one week picking up the parts and finally upgrading from gtx 660. I am gonna use this primarily for gaming.

Here are the specs:
CPU -> Ryzen 7 9800x3d
GPU -> Zotac 5080 solid OC
MOBO -> Msi B850 tomahawk max wifi
RAM - > G.skill trident neo z5 16gb x 2
SSD -> Crucial T500 2TB gen5 nvme
AIO -> Nzxt kraken elite 360
PSU -> Corsair Rm1000x shift ATS 3.1
CASE -> Lian li dynamic evo o11 mid tower

My doubts :

It depends what you’re playing and at what settings. Theres also a couple of inconsistencies like on the list you’ve listed the drive as gen5 rather than gen 4 which is what it is, the monitor is obviously a waste, you’re not going to run a game that would benefit from 4K at those frame rates so I’d either bump the monitor resolution down or the frame rate and get a cheaper one. You’re just paying for something you’re never going to use.

Updated thread, thanks for pointing that out, last time I was here it was 2011 lol

Can you recommend any alternate motherboard, idk after reading some online forums it's hit or miss with msi but I really like there carbon one

Yes, is there any advantage to shift one w.r.t to wire management?

Thanks for pointing out the inconsistency with my list, I have updated the thread now.

I wanted a oled and specifically woled and this is the only woled in 4k I could find.

I am not gonna hit 240fps on games but that's the case with so many things, I don't ride my car to 220 km/hr but that's doesn't mean it's useless, isn't it ?

I would bump down to 1440p. Your graphics card will last you longer.

Too late brother, i have already ordered the monitor, i originally wanted a 5090 but cost is too high and 4090 is out of stock so stuck with 5080 now, might upgrade to 90 class gpu next gen

I will not be running games at native resolution and will be using dlss/ frame gen for fps boost so I guess it will be fine

Make sure you curate your games settings to get more FPS to try and take advantage of that monitor as best a 5080 can. I have a 4k240hz monitor and it is difficult to get anywhere near 200 fps on some games with maxed settings. I recommend dialing back RTX and using DLSS quality on medium settings to get the most FPS!
