Finally, my computer parts are scheduled to arrive tomorrow, but before getting all hyped up, I need an opinion of it from an expert in gaming builds.

The build components are as follows...

Processor: Intel Core I7 4770 3.4GHz
Motherboard: Asus B85M-E
RAM: 8GB DDR3 1333MHz
DVD+RW Drive
HDD: 2 TB
GPU: XFX Radeon HD 7850 2GB DDR5
PSU: Thermaltake TP-650PCGUS ToughpowerST 650W/ATX 2.3/EPS 2.91/80+ Gold PS

What do you think?

Thanks for reading.

Yes, but as I said in one of my threads before, my country has limited parts to get from, and the only way to get better parts is to get them from U.S.A via aerial/maritime delivery.

Besides, I'm not the type of guy who likes to play on 1920x1600 res. with "Ultra" settings on everything, and since this is my first gaming build, I want to play decent games with good performance (Trust me, I currently have a crappy machine that runs Team Fortress 2 at 800x600 with the lowest settings and Direct X tweaks for performance. Right now, everybody would think my pc is ridiculously bad).

When I get more experienced on building this type of CPU's, I can change parts of the computer to suit my need in graphic/fps performance.

Interestingly, I build my rig to fully support Skyrim on Ultra settings.

I've seen videos of the video card's performance with Skyrim on that setting and it seems it runs pretty good.

To finish this thread, have you tried playing games on Ultra with this card? (Not that it will affect my gameplay, I have played on worse graphics than that and I'm more like a retro-player)

Thanks for the answer.

Id grab up a lower i5, and sped a bit more on the ram (1600 speed), and possibly up the video card if possible.

Your system is a lot like mine and you are right on the threshold where you will be able to run the current games well and prob in the near future, but in the mid-future your gonna have to upgrade your gpu.
