Nick,

Sounds very interesting. Does one have to register to attend this
event? Is there a fee?

The event will be free and there's no need to register. I just added a
note about this to the Web page.

Also, I misspelled Dan Ravipinto's name in the original post here.
Sorry about that.

IF reading? How is that going to work, exactly?

The people in the audience could call out what do to.

What a disappointing dénouement! "Emily Short" turns out to be... Emily
Short! There goes my theory of her being a 62-year-old black man with hair
on his back who, by some incredibly cruel twist of fait, had been brought up
on romance novels and Greek mythology. But still, as someone pointed out to
me, isn't it funny that it's Philadelphia, given that Samuel Delaney resides
there as well?

What a pity I can't leave my windswept rock of an island and attend this
highly interactive event. Igor, my hunchbacked servant, tells me my presence
is required here, with Castle Pudelstein being in urgent need of repair and
the children (O, how I love children!) craving my attention. If you only
knew how time-consuming it is to be a Perverted Madman Living On A
Half-Deserted Island.

Will the event be televised by a national network? I can only get Fox and
CBS here, and pretty intermittently at that. I tried installing a satellite
dish on one of the northern towers, but couldn't get the conservator to
approve it.
