Review of Build for Photoshop/Lightroom Editing

I am upgrading my system, keeping case, PSU, and storage. Looking for processing speed.

I picked these components because I will NOT be overclocking. Will they work together?


ASRock Z370 Pro4 LGA 1151 Motherboard
Intel Core i5-8400 Coffee Lake 6-Core 2.8 GHz Processor
G.SKILL Ripjaws 4 Series 8GB (F4-2400C15D-8GRR)

My only concern is that these components are compatible.

If you are not overclocking, step the Z370 board down to a B360 or H370 or H310 and use the money saved for 16 gigs of RAM.

What is your budget? Usually, for Photoshop and all, Ryzen is the way to go.
