I am building a desktop with configuration:

AMD Ryzen 5 3500
Corsair Vengeance LPX 2X4 2333Mhz
Antec BP450P -450 Watt
MSI A320 M A-Pro MAX (motherboard)
2 TB Barracuda HDD 7200rpm

I want a decent GPU but I am tight on budget. I expect GTA V, Assassin's creed etc. to run even if at low medium settings (but at convenient fps).
Please suggest a GPU and anything else you would add/replace to this

Should I opt for Core i3 9100f as its much less costly and userbenchmarks place it at almost same level as 3500

Are you buying a complete system including case and power supply for $400? Maybe look for used parts

might drop gpu and go for a r5 3400G instead. would look up specs to see if gtaV looks good or not.

Sorry my mistake. I didn't mentioned that I already have RAM and HDD. But I am really confused between 9100f or r5 3500. Why take a 3500 when the performance is nearly same and costs just half. Thanks btw

neither 9100f or r53500 have internal gpus. the r5 3400g has the best current integrated gpu as of right now. it can cut out the graphics card all together and 200us right now. the rx580 4gig has all kinds of problems and is actually slower then the 3400g currently.

unless you trust yourself hunting on the used gpu market

the ram you have is to slow for these cpus. and the HDD is great for a storage drive. not so much any more for a main drive.

just watched review. yep you need a decent gpu to run gtaV in 1080. the 3400g can do it nicely at 720

edit.
if you have 3400mhz ram it will run between 70-80fps at 720.
at 2800mhz its 58-65fps

Okay I have decided to go with a dedicated GPU but if it were you would you choose 3500 or take something else like 2600 or 1600AF (whats with this weird naming isn't 3500 better and hence should outperform all these)
