Once again I call upon you friends, I've done research after my previous thread and decided to get my pc off newegg with the iBuyPower configurator.

Please chime in on if this rig is ok in general and for skyrim with just 2k mods and no more than 40 minor mods like spells and companions.

NZXT Phantom 240 Series White Gaming Chassis

ASRock Z87 PRO3 Motherboard and Intel Core i7-4790K 4.0GHz Combo Fan Cooling

G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) Desktop Memory

GENERIC 1TB HDD + 120GB SSD Internal Hard Drive

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 Ti 3GB Video Card with 850 Watts Power Supply

Generic CD/DVD Burner

Microsoft Windows 8.1 - 64-bit - OEM

If you curious about the price its $2,300 the alienware counter part was like $3,400 once you add it up. The price includes the 3 year accident warranty.

Solution

Then get it to a i5 4690k, and 8gb of ram
My build for this month I'm getting is
i5 4690k
no cpu cooler
asus maximus ranger
avexir lightning series 8gb ram
intel 60gb ssd
seagate barrcuda 750gb
inno3d 780 ti ichill herculez x3 OC edition
mediocre case, not a great mobo, and never get generic storage lol. 1600mhz ram is the way too go, same price > better
2300$ budget? easy.

Oh, anyways, that's a good case, looks great, i would recommend you to not get a gpu from a prebuilt site, and get a better one by yourself then installing it, it's as easy as opening up the case and slotting it in really

So instead of getting a high end card from the site I should just buy it from else where. Other than that does everything seem ok, I'm going to get the Rosewill Thor V2 Gaming Case just with the above specs.

Then get it to a i5 4690k, and 8gb of ram
My build for this month I'm getting is
i5 4690k
no cpu cooler
asus maximus ranger
avexir lightning series 8gb ram
intel 60gb ssd
seagate barrcuda 750gb
inno3d 780 ti ichill herculez x3 OC edition

Solution

by changing it to a i5 and 8gb of ram I'm saving you 100-150 dollars, money you can spend on sli or single gpu
For gpu if you want all games maxed out, for your budget, a 780 ti will be nice, but get a asus model or a evga if you want to oc
