Hi.

I recently bought an ASUS ROG STRIX RTX 2070 O8G GAMING.

Right away, I began hearing a revving sound from the third fan as if it would go into a start-stop motion, as if it wasn't sure what it wanted to do!!!

So, after 2 full days of research online, I stumbled upon the following video which is about the only video I have found about this issue:

In here, people have mostly commented that this is a Gigabyte thing. However, based on my own experience and what I read in some of the comments there, I have come to a conclusion that this is more prevalent than we think. I am surprised that there are almost about no reports of this being posted on the internet.

Before finding the above video, I posted my own question on this forum. One of my respondents suggested I start a new thread here, perhaps it could get some momentum and people can indeed come together to discuss this matter:

There have been some suggestions provided here and there about how to solve this (of course, including RMA, return etc.). But I have understood that manufacturers mostly ignore this and do not accept this as a fault on the card.

So, are there any people here who have this same problem? What is the work around? What should we do?
