rewiring security camera

Trying to rewire a security camera has 2 wires a red and a yellow but has extra wire guessing it's the ground what do I need to have it working again?

There are two main types of security cameras.

There is IP which is wired with ethernet (or wifi) and has a circuit board inside it (doesnt sound like the type you have)
Then there is the old BNC type which has a power and ground cable, and then a coax cable with a BNC connector on it.

Now what do you mean by "rewire" it as besides form extending the wire there is no reason to rewire a BNC model.
Now many of the "super awesome price combo kits" come with very low end crappy cables and you often need to buy better cables.

Solution
Is that what you have for ends? If so the red contains 2 wires a power and a ground, the yellow has a single wire in the middle and then the shielding often connects to the exterior metal.
