Hi,

is there an easy way to control RGB without using a software?

The Phanteks P400A case supports that feature, but I want to use a different case.

I won't run Windows on the machine so a solution with a remote control would be good.

Motherboard is ASUS Prime X299-A II and the case will be Fractal Define C Meshify.

Thanks in advance.

You will need a RGB controller with remote control.
Like the one on the link below

Thanks. That was easier than I thought. Is there a way to figure out what color modes these controllers offer? I'm actually just interested in some kind of cyan magenta crossover rainbow effect. Like in this video at 15:45 minutes. :)

Unfortunately they sell this specific controller with 6 fans which I don't want.

They sell that controller by itself on Amazon.com but in only support Coolmoon RGB Cooling Fans.

Thanks alot. I already ordered a Coolmoon controler from here: https://www.banggood.com/Coolmoon-C...-p-1636061.html?rmmds=search&cur_warehouse=CN

I wonder if it will be compatible with other Fans. At least they didn't write any compatibility specs on the product page. And to be honest, even with the one you sent me, I cannot imagine how it could only work with their fans. Isn't the connection a standard thing?

I will report as soon as I've tested (will take two weeks until the controller arrives).

Unfortunately, RGB fan communication is far from a standard thing. But I'll cross my fingers.
