I built my system around a DeepCool CK560 that has RGB fans. However, rather than using the poorly documented case fan connections that a dinosaur like me found inscrutable, I simply hooked the fans to various of my Mobo’s 6 Sys_Fan connectors via their three pin connectors and ignored the fancy daisy chains, adaptors And case circuit board. Now I have a nice dark (except that annoying GPU brag RGB) computer, but I’m just wondering if I’m messing anything up by doing this.

The CPU is plenty cool with the two fans whirling away and plugged into the CPU-Fan socket, the GPU was cool enough, but is now much cooler with a little tweaking of the GPU fan speeds via MSI Afterburner. The case seems to flow perfectly fine, the four case fans (three front and one rear) are happily spinning…am I OK, or am I missing something?
