RGB Fans installation

I'm currently looking at buying Deepcool 3 in 1 pack of rgb fans but my motherboard does not have a rgb header. It says it comes with a controller but I'm not exactly sure where the 4 pin header would plug in? My mobo is a little outdated as well. It's an Asus M5A97 R2.0 AM3+ if that helps.

If anybody has a good choice of rgb fans that has the controller for a decent price, I would be willing to listen to the options as well.

Usually the RGB fan controller uses either a SATA power connector or 4-pin Molex from the power supply.

That helps. So do you think that without any header as there is the hub for the fans as well as the controller that it will work?

The fans are offered as RGB and Addressable RGB. I don't think that it will work for you. I looked at both. And both are plugged into the 5V RGB header on the motherboard.

This one will without a RGB motherboard header. It has become confusing.

No there are others by Corsair and a few others. But when i was looking at them most had to be plugged into a RGB header
