[SOLVED] rgb fans

do i have to plug the rgb fans into an rgb header to make them spin? or can i just plug them into a fanheader, because honestly i just want them to cool my pc couldnt care much if they light up or not

Which fan is it? They should have two cables coming off of them. The PWM fan cable should plug into fan header, and RGB cable should plug into the motherboard RGB headers, or the fan's RGB hub.

yeah i know all of that, but just wondering if they can spin with out plugging them into the rgb head, i mean keeping the rgb cable unplugged, and only plugging the PWM fan cable
