The RGB lighting on my CPU cooler just stopped working after about 11 months of use. The fan spins fine but the RGB lighting is off.
CPU cooling fan is ID-COOLING IS-55 ARGB cooler low profile
MOBO is ASUS ROG STRIX B-550A
the PSU is a Seasonic GX-550.
The RGB connector is connected to the AURA Addressable Gen 2 header on the MOBO - manual is here see page 1-15.
Nothing changed with any of the connections. I did move one of the DRAMs over by one slot recently but it was working afterwards. I cannot see that being an issue.
The RGB light flashes on for a half-second when the PC turn on or off. Any one run into this issue and how to fix? Could it being some setting that got reset or RGB unit just gone bad?
