RGB Mouse Problems

So I've been having problems with my mouse (hiraley fmouse f300)

I'm pretty sure that I've identified the problem, I just don't know how to fix it. My mouse only works withouth the rgb lights enabled. When I turn them on, the mouse stops working. (device descriptor request failed). In device manager it shows up as a 'USB Composite Device'. It doesn't use any drivers. Normally I think I'd be able to solve this problem by opening the properties and going to the 'power management' tab and deselecting 'allow the computer to turn off this device to save power'. The only problem is that there is no such tab to be found.

I've tried: -using different usb ports
-using different computers
-updating the drivers
-un- and reinstalling the device
any help would be greatly appreciated.

It says its a driver, but its actually a software to change lichting, buttons etc.

for example, when I plug my Razer ManO' War wireless headset into my PC with the USB adapter, it works in a basic fashion with windows generic USB wireless drivers.
But to get drivers for it to work fully, I install the Razer Synapse software which installs drivers for the device.

So how do I tell windows to use those drivers for my mouse?

Well, it hasn't overwritten anything. Windows still says it uses the standaard Microsoft drivers..
