Question RGB not lighting up on exhaust fan

Hi all,

I have recently rebuilt my PC. Long story short I got a new corsair cooler + a case fan to use as the exhaust fan, when I turned on the PC for the first boot, everything lit up as expected (picture attached) however when I downloaded the Corsair iCUE software the lights went off and haven't come back on since. I have tried reinstalling the software to no avail. The fan is correctly plugged in to the fan control board at the back. Is this something anyone has come across before?

What are makes and model of your fans? How are they all hooked up to your system? Including images of he connections in your build, helps.
