I've a MSI Z590 Gaming Plus with 1 x ARCTIC P14 PWM PST A-RGB fan (rear case), and 3 x DeepCool argb fans (front case). This doesn't happen often maybe 1-3 times during the whole day the rgbs would randomly turn off for like literally 0.5 seconds and instantly turn back on. It happens so fast that I can't really tell if its just the rear case fan (arctic argb) and the motherboard led or if that happens to all the rgb in the pc. This is while the pc is on, it is not going to sleep mode or anything.

It's not a major issue but it just annoys me sometimes cause I can see it blink in the corner of my eye. Was wondering if this ever happened to anyone else?

Take a look in Reliability History/Monitor and Event Viewer.

Either one or both tools may be capturing some error code, warning, or simple informational event just before or at the time of the blinks.

Otherwise, the problem could be a loose connection somewhere.

Power down, unplug, open the case.

Clean out dust and debris. Check that all connections, cards, RAM, jumpers, and case connections are fully and firmly in place.

found this solution in a forum "Now that I think about it, it does only seem to happen with the color cycle setting. I had it set to solid orange previously and it didn’t happen"
I have setted to 1 single color atm and seem to be fixed... i don t know why 😵
ps. checked on reliability history/monitor and event viewer and not a single error referred to this problem.
I ll update for more info in the next days

it seems fixed, at this point it occurs to me that MSI's rainbow effect isn't really an infinite cycle but behaves as if it had a beginning and an end, at which point it then restarts and creates this off/on effect, the only strange thing. the fact is that the argb fan connected to the motherboard also did it but now after having set a single fixed color it no longer seems to create this problem.
