Rgb phanteks eclipse p350x

I have a phanteks eclipse p350x and a asus 390p motherboard. The rgb in the case needs a 5v 3-pin connector but the MB only has a 12v header. What i do have is an 3-pin 5v digital audio connector (spdif_out) witch is not in use. Could i use that instead?

No you can't, you need a compatible RGB Controller.

Never mind! Just plugged in the sata cable and everything works
