[SOLVED] RGB problem: 3 pin Case connector to 4 pin Mobo connector

Hey folks!

I just bought myself a new case and CPU fan.

now im having a little problem with the RGB.

i am using the ROG STRIX Z270F Mobo and it only has 2x RGB Headers (4PIN) available.

My case (TUF Gaming GT301) has a RGB HUB and it needs to be connected with a 3 Pin connector to my Mobo.

Is there some sort of way to make this able to work with each other?

the other question: my CPU Fan (Thermaltake UX100 ARGB) has a 2 pin connector for the RGB but those are 5V RGB header – 2Pin. any idea how i should connect this to my Mobo?

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

The case has ARGB input, not RGB, while the motherboard has RGB output, not ARGB. You will either need to change the board to one that has an ARGB header on it or change the case with fans that are RGB or buy this contraption by CoolerMaster.
