Probably a noob question but I'm unsure.

Manufacturers have their own RGB branding, right? (MSI Mystic Light, ASUS Aura, GIGABYTE RGB Fusion etc.)

Does a piece of RGB hardware have to explicitly identify as being compatible with these different pieces of software to be controlled fully? Or is there some aspect of universality to it?

I'm trying to find a tasteful RGB case for my new build, but with only a handful of cases being identified as "GIGABYTE RGB Fusion Ready" and inside my price range, I just wanted to know if I had any other options.

https://www.gigabyte.com/mb/rgb/ready

Thanks, all :) :)

Solution
No, not many options there, use what comes with your MB. Eventually some cases may come with own RGB controls and their SW should be used. Same with some AiO liquid coolers.
