rgb with a non aura board

hi all, I own an asus p8h67-m pro motherboard and was looking to see if i ever got a gpu or some ram or a light controller that supported rgb if it was possible to control the rgb with software. As far as i know, i do not have aura support on my board. my motherboard does not have an rgb header.

Aura SW can control lights on GPU independently and without any MB support. I'm not sure about RAM, some have separate RGB leads needing a controller. I have never seen DDR3 with any lights.
