Ridge Racer 2 upgradable ??

I'm buying a RR2 and was wondering if at some point if I wanted
to upgrade to a newer racing title would it be possible. Has anybody
done this? Thanks

I believe it can be upgraded to a Rave Racer, but I'm not 100% sure. If
anyone else more concrete info I would like to know too. I have a RR2
upright cab.
