Ridiculous price gap

the 945 is 95watts, whereas the 955 is 125watts the average cheapscate amd board only supports up to 95watt cpus, the 945 is the most powerfull cpu my board supports,check sig. so those who cant support the 955 will have no choice but to get the 945

Yes. The key was the TDP.

The lower wattage CPU is also a better CPU will run cooler and use less power obvious.
