Hey all,

I really need some help her, as the title suggests I get stutter in nearly every game.

My specs are as follows:

I5469
Gtx970
16gb Ram
Asus mobo (don't know the name but it's quite low end)
1Tb hdd
250gb ssd
Win 10

I have struggled to solve this for too long now and I'm fed up to be honest - why should I pay 900 plus pounds to get a worse experience than I can get on my ps4?

Anytime the gpu is under load it buzzes like hell and anytime the game stutters it goes quiet for a second.

It feels like a mini freeze where the whole game just hangs for a moment.

At this time frame times spike very violently.

I feel like I have tried everything at this stage, but if someone can help me out I would be grateful!

Thanks!

It could be heat throttling. I experienced the same once, It was because of some heat issues on the motherboard. It caused the CPU to throttle back and reduced the multiplier for a few seconds, resulting in mini freezes each minute of playing a game.

I didn't mean to select that as best answer sorry!

I know is not throttling - cpu is watercooled and gpu novel goes over 70 🙁

You said you have a low end motherboard. These tend to overheat under load, not the CPU itself. The power consumption of these CPUs is higher than some boards can handle, though the CPUs are on the list off supported CPUs

I see if I could find the model number could you take a look for me - let me know if you think it's a possibility?
