Yes, 5000D will fit that motherboard and comes highly recommended.

The size of your board is named "ATX" so any ATX chassis will fit that board. However you want to ensure you get one with good airflow since you will be mounting a 140W CPU in there. the 5000D has ok airflow out of the box with 2 included fans, but you would probably want to add a couple more 120mm fans if you put a powerful GPU in there.

Thanks. Is there any better case that you would recommend?

You could look at some of the Lian Li cases. I recently bought a Lian Li Lancool II Mesh Performance. This one doesn't have any RGB. They also have some models that do. It has very good airflow and was big enough to make my installation of components easy.

Yes, they can.
I would add two 120mm front intakes to what is already provided.
You have a hot gpu and the cooler also needs fresh air to do it's job.
Go to the noctua web site and access their compatibility charts for your motherboard.
There are a few which will have difficulty with the NH-D15.

Asus ROG maximus Z690 formula for example:
https://ncc.noctua.at/motherboards/model/ASUS-ROG-Maximus-Z690-Formula-5309
The reason is too little clearance from the vrm cooling.
For the most part, normal asus boards are ok as are other brands.
It pays to check.
Here is the chart for a I9-12900K:
https://ncc.noctua.at/cpus/model/Intel-Core-i9-12900K-1577

If your ram heat spreaders are unusually tall. over 32mm, you may want the nh-D15s instead.
Here is the issue:

If you're prepared to drop £150 on a Corsair case then you've already picked one with great cooling potential, you just need to add 2 fans.

It really comes down to personal preference and looks. I love the look of the 5000D personally but if I was going to spend £150 on a case I'd probably spend another £16 and get the Torrent:

Which is the best case around imo right now both in terms of looks and thermal performance, and it comes with all the fans you need.

Does this mean I should get Nhi-D15s instead? I think nh-D15 may fit some RAM but my choice will be restricted

I would pick the NH-D15s chromax black which should include lga1700 mounting.
The coooling is virtually the same as NH-D15. If you get one of the beige units, you may get older stock which did not include lga1700 mounts. Noctua would send you one, but no need to wait on that.

I just changed my cooling unit to NH-D15s. I have ordered the mount for LGA1700 separately from Noctua website as I don’t think the NH-D15s comes with it by default

Thanks. 5000D is available for £100 on Amazon website. I don’t want to spend too much on the case
