Question Right Headphone Not Working

Hi everyone,

I have a MSI GE72PRO Apache Pro, My right headphone isn't working for some reason, The jack isn't bent or anything, but when I do insert the headphone 2/3 of the way in the right headphone works. please help.

im already using that and I tried not using it and I tried different headphones

hey this is still a problem for me and my teammates are getting really mad at me when I don't hear something to my right. plz help

The issue is that the Xbox controller most likely has a sound chip built into it that splits the single input, where as your PC has separate inputs for each, neither of which can correctly process the mixed input.

The solution is to either get an adapter, or a USB soundcard that supports mixed input.

Can you verify the headphone port on your PC works correctly with another headphones?

i did some googling, some adapters will work, some not
what will definitely work is that u connect xbox controller with your PC (usb cable), than u connect headphones to xbox controller

With or without the adapter it still doesn’t work I don’t think it's the adapter and I tried using the Xbox controller jack through usb and that still didn’t work it also doesn’t work with any other headphones
