Question Right, heres one for you....icons on large or medium = no scroll?

When i view a window in large or medium icons, the mouse scroll does not work. I can click on the side bar scroll and scroll up and down, but the mouse wheel does not scroll down, THOUGH it will scroll up. Whats made this really tough is that iv only just now realised when it happens, everything else is perfect mouse wheel wise, scrolls fine everywhere else, just not when window has large or medium icons.... win 10 pro, fresh install 2 weeks ago, 21H1. This has happened before too....and i also tried 3 different mice....

Try a clean boot and see if it changes anything - make sure to read instructions and make sure NOT to disable any Microsoft services or windows won't load right - https://support.microsoft.com/en-au/help/929135/how-to-perform-a-clean-boot-in-windows

it doesn't delete anything, just stops non microsoft applications running at start, easy to reverse

if clean boot fixes it, it shows its likely a startup program. You should, over a number of startups. restart the programs you stopped to isolate the one that is to blame.

I wonder if its scroll lock
