Righ laptop speaker making popping sound.
Situation:
Laptop nr2 HDD crashed and I placed it in laptop nr1 to save files using Hirens (15.2 ?) disc. After few hours of trying I managed to copy my files to a sd card and placed HDD back to laptop nr1. When I turned the laptop nr1 (healthy one) on, the right speaker from the moment I pressed power button started to make a popping sound about every second. When I plug headphones in the sound disappears (no popping sound in headphones too). When I put the damaged HDD to laptop nr1 again, the sound also disappears.
I am confused, what could it be? Would a reinstall of OS help?
SOLUTION:
I found out the problem. It were unisolated wires that were touching something (each other or so). They were worn out in one place and when I took the HDD out I moved them a bit I guess. That made them touch and make the speaker go wrong. The replacing of the HDD had effect because it was a bit smaller so it did not touch the wires..
I isolated the wires with a tape and everything is back to normal now. Thank you!
