Right shift now types this symbol "Ç" instead of it's proper function.

For the last couple of days whenever I try to use the right shift button it now makes this symbol "Ç". As I haven't installed any new programs, games or hardware in the last week, the only explanation that I can think of is that my curious 2 year old girl has through the purest form of button mashing hit upon some strange combination of keys to cause this.

I have tried resetting the keyboard language, changing the keyboard region, uninstalling the keyboard and switching the usb port I use for the keyboard and none of them have made any difference.

Can someone please help me with this?

On the bottom right side of your screen, look for something that says "ENG" click on it, and select ENG US

I did say that I have already tried resetting the keyboard language but thanks anyway.

No problem, if it isn't fixed yet, try unplugging and plugging the keyboard back in the PC.

The problem has fixed itself now :/ I have honestly done nothing different but when I booted up the computer today it decided to work properly.
