Question Right side of my monitor display has a pink hue.

The pink hue covers the right side of my screen.

I've done some troubleshooting: I tried using an hdmi cable instead of a dvi-d cable on the same pc. Same results with the pink hue flashing mess. I plugged up my old pc and since it didn't have a dvi-d connection, I used an hdmi cable. I used the same hdmi cable and same monitor the whole time, just different PC's. I had bad results, there were pink hues. If there were pink hues in both hdmi and dvi on both PC's, the monitor has to be faulty. Is there any solution? Should I just return it?

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 6 core 3400 Mhz
Motherboard: GigaByte B450M DS3H
Memory: G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 16GB DDR4


I've been using ^ for about 4 months. No problems at all thankfully.

yes a new monitor, there were no changes.

I have never seen a problem like that before, but it sounds similar to the problem reported in this forum post.

already seen that forum. I've decided to just return the monitor and get a new one.
