Geek to geek, i want to open the can of worms that is the "Computer Fan"... Noise over throughput, push pull, 120mm, 140mm, even pull push configurations, PSU facing up or down... Everything you think that makes a cool yet silent as a mouse, Rig. I'll start.

Recently, i bought the Silencio 650 as a Server box to run my dedi's and have found it's actually quieter than my PC i have next to me. (Silencio 550) The only difference is, is the fans i put inside, (BeQuiet Pure Wings 2) x3 and MY god does it make a difference. Both running 2 front 120mm and one rear 120mm. Though i did swap the front for Pressure fans as there is quiet a lot of restriction on both the cases where the fan filters are. So Air Flow fans just wasn't viable.

The rest is pretty normal. Thermal Ultra 120 heatsink pushing towards rear exhaust fan and PSU facing down through the fan filter.

Loudest thing in my rig is the G'Card fan that loves to scream at me.

Any watercooling fanatics please move along. This is an Air cooling query. Sorry <3
