His concept of "everything on the map" was a major turning point for
wargames and carried over to computer games. A great loss.

I was 14 when I got my first copy of Strategy & Tactics. Waiting for UPS
packages full of SPI games is one of my fondest memories from high school. I
didn't know him but I sure knew his work and it was great.
