rise of nations : flickering screen

Hi

After the movie cut scene (which displays fine)at
start up of Rise of Nations the screen then flickers to
the point you can't make out anything. Have upgraded
video card etc but still the same : any ideas
anyone ..... please ..... all dressed up and nowhere to
go !!!

Hi Pol,
You started off ok but never did mention which video adapter or anything
else about your configuration. Does it meet the requirements of RON as
listed?

Windows: XP/2000/ME/98 - 128 MB Ram
500 Mhz Processor
800 MB Free Space on Harddisk
16 MB 3D card
Audio
Modem for multiplyaer or broadband connection.

If you have all this and still have problems, send a copy of your dxdiag
information. From run command type dxdiag > run tests > save to file >
attach that file here.
