I am soon getting this game and I wonder what are the best (optimal) settings for achieving stable 60 fps throughout this whole game ? I ask this becuase I see in gameplay videos that the framerate in the game fluctuates from high fps to 40ish fps...

I play in 1080p, it would be good if SMAA was enabled.

My rig :
i5 4690k @ 4,2 GHz
GTX 970 G1 OC`d, latest drivers
8 GB RAM 1867 MHz
Win 10 Pro 64 bit

Solution
the large hub areas are going to be the biggest hit to your fps. high preset is a good idea. theres also a lot of shadow based settings you can turn down without a considerably noticeable drop in image quality. i also suggest you do not under any circumstances turn textures to very high, a 970 just doesnt have the vram to handle it. turning down the anisotropic filtering. i found that helped my fps as well. set it to like x4 of x8.

Don't have the game but;I would use ReShade and Sweetfx for aliasing.Turn in-game and hardware aliasing and AF off.You can actually have better performance and visuals.
