[SOLVED] Rise of Tomb Raider not using all available GPU vram ?

Hi people, i have one problem, i recently downloaded Rise of Tomb Raider, i try to play in full hd resolution and medium quality but my fps stay around 20-25 fps.

I play with laptop, my laptop is an Asus F550V and have this spec:

Intel i7-6700hq
Nvidia Gtx 950m (4gb) ddr5
8g ram ddr4
1T HDD

I noticed that while playing, the game only uses 1.3-1.5gb of vram even though the GPU has 4gb vram
Why doesn't game use more vram to increase performance?

When I open the game, the launcher appears and there is an option where the default settings apply (
I think depending on the video card) and the default settings are much higher than what I set,
What do you think, sir?

The games will only use the vram it needs. Just because you have 4Gb does not mean all of it will be used.
25 fps sounds about right for 1080p@Med settings

I understand, why video cards like nvidia gtx 1640 4gb are better even if it has 4g like 950m? does it depend on the frequency?

A Toyota Yaris, a Fiat Punto, a Ford Focus and a Opel Astra all have 40litres reservoir. Why don't they perform the same?

You mean the GTX 1650. The 1650 is a newer faster GPU.
