[SOLVED] riser cable PCI-E 3.0 and 4.0 motherboard,issues?

Hi guys.
So anyone tried it, issues,and did you have luck on working riser cable with PCI-E 4.0 motherboard?
I know you have an option to switch to Gen3 in BIOS,but does that help?
I have Asus Crosshair Hero VIII,but I can't buy here 4.0 riser cable,just 3.0.

You can only use 3.0 riser. You will need to install GPU to motherboard or use integrated graphics to go in bios and set pcie graphics to 3.0 for the riser card to work
