I'm getting "flashing" graphics in some older games ever since updating my
TNT 2 drivers. I'm using this cards with Windows 98. Any idea what the
problem could be or what settings I can adjust?

Thanks,

You answered your own question...."ever since updating my

Go back to what you were using b4. There is nothing you can gain by
upgrading the drivers on that card running that OS. BUt as you have found,
there are things you can lose. >

Yeah... good idea. How do I reset the old driver? I remember having a
"roll back" feature at one point, but now it's non-existent.

there is no rollback feature in win98 - you uninstall the new drivers and
reinstall the old ones. the 12.41s should be fine from www.guru3d.com

Well, I downloaded 14.13.01's from nVidia, and the graphics problem is
solved. HOWEVER, now, the sound in most games is choppy. WTF!

Btw, I basically just downloaded and installed over the old drivers. Is
that wise? Like I said, so far no graphics problems. Can I attribute that
to the sound problems perhaps?

installing drivers over them, if you did not know this, sorry Dumbarse

If you are using the 5x.xx drivers with that older card, it will not work
correctly. Those drivers aren't stable with that non-FX card.

Hey, if everyone who needs the answer to a question is a dumbarse, why do
Newsgroups exist?

Shouldn't they be called "Dumbarse groups" and be avoided by incredibly
intelligent Computer Gods like you :)
