rivatuner's on screen display says that my fans aren't moving when they are.

so I bought a gtx 1050 ti for Christmas and began to test it using msi's on screen display extension of rivatuner to monitor my cards stats. my problem came when I looked at the fan rpms. it says that my fan isn't moving when it is. (I've tried deleting and reinstalling both programs and that didn't work). has anyone else had this problem?

Take a closer look at the wiring and connections involved. 3 pins, 4 pins....?

Google "Computer fan wiring pinouts" and then select images.

Make sure that you have the necessary connectivity and that those connections are correctly being made.
