Rm 1000w 780 Ti SLI

I asked this question before but i'm just double checking one last time. My local computer shop said that 1000w wont be enough for my 2 780 TI superclocked GPU. He said a 1200 or 1500 will only handle it but people on here said 1000W is overkill for my cards. which is true? should i get a bigger PSU? I already have the RM1000w. I seen people 3 way SLI with 1200 watt.

If you're talking about the Corsair RM 1KW, that's more than enough. The guy at your local computer shop doesn't know what he's talking about.

Those cards have a TDP of 250W each. No way you'll get anywhere near 1KW.

A decent 1000W PSU will easily run two 780 TIs. A test at [H]ard OCP with the reference ones showed the entire system only pulled 522W. So even with heavily overclocked cards you've got loads of headroom
