Hi, was looking to see if the Corsair RM650 would usually die unexpectely while in use? I have never overclocked and i wasnt even running any heavy tasks. Anyways, heres my specs:
MSI MPG Z490
Intel Core i5-10400F
MSI GTX 970 Gaming 4G
Corsair Vengeance DDR4 RGB
Corsair ICUE 220T
2x EZDIY FAB RGB FANS
2X EZDIY FAB RGB Strip lights
Heres the link to the EZDIY if you're interested: https://www.amazon.co.uk/EZDIY-FAB-...able-Controller/dp/B07KJZPZH3?ref_=ast_sto_dp
CORSAIR H60 Hydrocooler
Samsung internal (non-m.2) SSD
WD3200AKS HDD
and of course, CORSAIR RM650
(I do also have a usb 3.0 pci hub but i dont think that matters)

Any suggestios would be helpful,
Thanks,
Ben

Hi Johnny Guru, when my psu died, my pc died unexpectedly and wouldnt turn on. After using my friends psu to test the components, they worked fine and so i concluded that the psu died. What i was really wondering was that if my RM650 supports all the listed components

Easily. 😀

the RM series is a pretty high tiered group of power supplies.
not known for regularly malfunctioning, damaging components, or any negative aspects.

if you've already confirmed that it is the power supply that's failed;
if it's new, return to retailer for refund or replacement.
if not, Corsair has usually offered good customer support. contact them for RMA.

Sell more units, see more failures. That's the name of the game.

But it's impossible to know anything about why your PSU failed without seeing it. I mean... it just stopped working without even a pop or a whimper?
