[SOLVED] RM650x Corsair PSU for RTX 3080

Hi there,

My current system specs are:

i5-8600k(stock)
16gb DDR4 Ram 2400
RM650x Corsair PSU
DELL 1440p Monitor
Asus z370-p Motherboard

I am planning to purchase an RTX 3080 on its release date Sep 17th, though I am wondering if 650 watts is going to be enough to power the system, considering the 3080 power usage is 320 TDP. Will the 650 watts be enough?

Yes your PSU should be able to handle it but i'm not too sure of the connectors as the new RTX 3000 series seem to use more power connectors due to their higher power consumption
