[SOLVED] RM650X Failure

In the morning I pressed the power button on my pc and heard a loud electricity pop with a tiny bit of smoke coming from the Corsair RM650x. That led to a power outage in the entire house. I've had the PSU for 1,5 years and it worked perfectly fine just yesterday. Is it safe (for other components) to try turning the pc back on, or should I look for a new power supply?

If your sure the smoke came from the PSU then don't use it. Failures of any part can happen no matter what brand you buy even the best made has failures.

And don't look for new, but make use of warranty.
